About Our Doctor
Dr. Chandan Kumar Patra, originally from Nizampur, Kamarda ,Balasore, completed his schooling at Nrusingha Nath High School, Kusuda, Kamarda, Balasore. +2 Science from FM College, Balasore.Later, he pursued his MBBS, from MKCG Medical College, and Hospital, Berhampur. PGDip. (Endocrinology & Diabetes)- RCP, London, and FCC (Medicine), FID (Diabetology)- UK, CCEBDM – IDF & PHFI , Delhi . He is having working experience in the Team of Dr Naresh Trehan at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi.
He then moved back to Odisha and started working at different Hospitals of Odisha , eg – KAR Clinic & Hospital Pvt Ltd, SPARSH Hospital , USTHI Hospital, AMRI Hospital City Centre , Aditya Ashwini Hospital. After securing 17 years of experience as a Diabetologist, he founded Khusi Diabetes Care to provide the ultimate treatment and care to people dealing with different aspects associated with it. His years of experience as a consultant diabetologist have been used for the betterment of needy people of Odisha by some social organisations like Satindra Giribala Memorial Trust , Rani Rout Foundation , Kasturi social organisation and many more. For his noble social services, he is felicitated by different forums.
Gundicha Drug house and Clinic organized a free diabetes camp, and diabetes walk-in focused on The family & Diabetes in association with Khusi Diabetes Care. The campus drive was organized at Gundicha Drug House, BDA Colony, C.S.Pur, Bhubaneswar.
Awareness program carried out by Khusi Diabetes Care. Educating people about the fact that 90% of the time, diabetes can be prevented when acted on at the right time.
